The DSAH Medical Imaging Department combine’s reliable imaging modalities using “State of the Art” technology with, prompt and accurate image reading by a team of highly qualified, well experienced and reliable Consultant radiologists, technicians and sonographers. The staff holds the highest qualifications from diverse regions all over the globe. To ensure safety, all the equipment meets high standards, which is maintained by periodical checks so that professional technicians can conduct each case with confidence in a comfortable environment.

Services

The Department of Radiology employs state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology for diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic imaging-based medical procedures. The Medical Imaging services are performed by licensed medical imaging technicians / technologists under the supervision of the radiologists.

The staff maintains a safe environment in the department, offering the services throughout the day (24/7). The technology is fully utilized, as the RIS information system and the PACS image archiving and transmission system are used.

 

 

Digital X-ray radiography:

 

  • Orthopedics, Head & Neck, Musculoskeletal, Neurology, Thoracic, Cardiovascular, etc.

 

Bedside imaging, mobile (portable) radiography:

 

  • Lines placement assessment, X-ray for NICU, ICU, ER cases, etc.

 

C-arm X-ray :

 

  • Operating room procedures, e.g. Urology, orthopedics' surgery etc.
